Our Four Day Roadtrip.

     So it seems I'm back quite early from what was going to be a month long roadtrip down the coast. Well we found out that it is actually illegal to camp in your car anywhere besides a caravan/camping site. Which means we would have had to pay whenever we wanted to park to sleep. I hope you're not too disappointed, but we still had a fantastic time and I got to see the Sydney Opera House and kangaroos! Let me tell you how it happened.

     When we arrived in Coolangatta that first night we were so excited for the days to come and to walk around the next day. We were parked right by the beach, bathrooms, and across the street from a coffeehouse with live music. Unfortunately, it was also right next to the main road and people like to drive fast and loud at night.

Roadtrip | Aussie Style ☼

   Today, I thought I should share with you guys our big adventure! My husband and I will be traveling along the east coast of Australia for the next month. We'll be packing light and sleeping in our car along the way, so it'll be interesting for sure! We are both so excited to see what this journey will bring us and where it will take us. We are taking this trip very casually, so we may hit all of these destinations or cut it short if we feel like it.

     I will be posting as often as I can, although we aren't sure how or when we will be able to get WiFi. So if posts become far between, I may just only update my Facebook page to let you know where we're at along the map. Below I have mapped out our tentative plan and the places we really want to check out. We have a few things planned in a couple of cities already which I will go into detail once we hit those spots. Of course, there will be the usual surfing (for Anthony!), sunbathing, and walking on the beach at almost ALL of these destinations. But there are some places that have unique things for us to do! I'm looking forward to sharing our trip with you, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Day trip to Nimbin (super hippie town; btw marijuana is illegal in Australia),

- Jervis Bay, 

- Eden, 

- Melbourne, 

- Great Ocean Road (Melbourne to Adelaide or something like that).

Meet Penelope!

   So it has been a HOT minute since I've updated you on our Australia adventure! I feel like not a whole lot has been going on. We've basically spent our first month here in this lovely house, checking out the nearby area and being lazy. That's all going to change soon though, and you'll see why! Here's a quick recap on the past couple of weeks.
