Meet Penelope!

   So it has been a HOT minute since I've updated you on our Australia adventure! I feel like not a whole lot has been going on. We've basically spent our first month here in this lovely house, checking out the nearby area and being lazy. That's all going to change soon though, and you'll see why! Here's a quick recap on the past couple of weeks. 

• More reading books and tanning
• If you haven't heard, I got my nose pierced
• Anthony and I had a little work for a couple of days in Brisbane
• We've checked out a couple OP Shops (Thrift Stores)
• WE BOUGHT A CAR!!!

    Yes, we finally have a car! No more being stuck at home, or asking other people for rides, or waiting for our friends to be free to get out of the house! Now, I had been putting off this post because we were worried she had a blown head gasket, which meant it wasn't really worth putting a new engine in and we would have to go back to car shopping. But, we have her fixed now (mostly), she needed a new radiator, a new radiator cap, and a new thermometer in it. She came with quite a few other things for camping out of the car and traveling around a bit, and we are so excited to hit the road! There are even little window curtains in the back so people don't creep on us while we're sleeping. 

I won't keep you waiting any longer!

Today, we also went shopping for the last few items we needed to hit the road! I'll post pictures along the way when I can. So, if posts become few and far between, don't worry! I will be keeping track of everything to post later if I'm not able to do it while we're on the road! I'll be letting you in on the places we'll be traveling to on my next post, follow along to see that when it goes up!
